EarthWorks On The Ridge is a construction company specializing in broadband infrastructure and fiber optic network deployment. Our team works across every stage of a project, from planning and network design through construction, installation, and maintenance.

We have extensive experience in new fiber construction, dark fiber/duct solutions, and data center connectivity. We also specialize in micro-trenching technology and fiber deployment for long-haul, Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), and other broadband network projects.

Scott Mailman

Owner/Founder

Scott Mailman is an infrastructure development executive with more than 30 years of experience leading complex telecommunications and utility modernization initiatives. He has directed and supported major infrastructure programs that enhance reliability, resilience, and community connectivity. Mr. Mailman has held leadership positions for complex network projects such as the Massachusetts Middle Mile broadband expansion (MBI Network), an 1,100 mile middle-mile fiber network connecting rural communities in Western Massachusetts and for Project Unicorn, a 19,000 mile long-haul fiber overbuild, managing the fiber initiative in New York State. Mr. Mailman also was a key contributor to the successful SiFi Network deployments in California, engaged in coordination of multi- agency, public–private infrastructure partnerships for SiFi Networks in California with support of LA1, LA2, LA3 Data Centers.

Scott is recognized for navigating challenging regulatory environments, aligning diverse stakeholders, and advancing infrastructure solutions that support economic growth and reliable access to essential services.
